Platform Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the www.insurance-check.eu platform ("Platform"), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

"User" means any individual or entity using the Platform (e.g., insurers, policyholders, authorized agents).
"Insurer" means an insurance company or representative uploading policy data.
"Policy Data" means insurance holder's name, insurance company, policy number, and validity dates.

3. Platform Services

The Platform allows:
Insurers to upload Policy Data (individually or via Excel bulk upload)
Automated verification of insurance validity with insurance providers
Secure storage and retrieval of verified insurance records

4. User Responsibilities

For Insurers:
Ensure accuracy and legality of uploaded Policy Data
Obtain explicit consent from policyholders before sharing their data
Comply with GDPR and EU data protection laws

For All Users:
Do not upload fraudulent, expired, or falsified insurance data
Keep login credentials secure (shared accounts are prohibited)
Report suspicious activity immediately

5. Data Processing & Privacy

We process Policy Data per our Privacy Policy (linked)
Users warrant they have legal authority to submit Policy Data
We do not sell or misuse insurance records

6. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:
Submit false, misleading, or stolen insurance data
Use the Platform for fraudulent claims or identity theft
Reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform's software, design, and content are owned by [Your Company Name]
Users grant a limited license to process Policy Data for verification purposes only

8. Liability & Disclaimers

We verify but do not guarantee insurance validity - insurers remain responsible for policy accuracy
No liability for:
Errors in Policy Data provided by insurers
Unauthorized access due to user negligence
Indirect damages (e.g., business losses)

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if users:
Violate these Terms
Submit fraudulent data
Breach applicable laws

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by EU law (specify country, e.g., Austria)
Disputes shall be resolved in Court/Innsbruck

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and will notify users of material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
